R S FosterRosemary Foster grew up in Graaff Reinet, the "Gem of the Karoo", in the 1960s. Her book, Staying Small, is a work of fiction inspired by her own, somewhat unusual, childhood experience in Graaff Reinet as a pre-teen. Although Dr Foster has spent muc of her adult life living and working overseas, she finds herself inextricably drawn back to the Karoo. She loves writing, and Staying Small is her second published book. Her first book, All Which is Truth, is a non-fiction account of nineteenth-century murders in Scotland. Read More Read Less
