Purnima AwasthiDr. Purnima Awasthi is B.A, M.A (Clinical Psychology & Psychopharmacology), and PhD in Health Psychology. With 18 years of national and international experience in teaching and research, currently she is Associate Professor in the Department of Psychlogy at Faculty of Social Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. She is coordinator of PG Diploma in Counseling, Guidance and Psychological Intervention. Dr. Purnima is health psychology expert and has published more than 50 research papers in the journals of national and international repute. She has delivered scores of Invited Lectures in National and International Conference/ Seminar/ Workshop and Symposia. She has successfully supervised and produced 4 PhDs in the field of health psychology, and 4 more research scholars are pursuing their PhD studies under her supervision.
