Preston Thorne#Justachicken raised in Summerville, South Carolina, Preston is a teacher/coach at Blythewood High School in Blythewood, South Carolina. Co-captain of Lou Hotlz '04 Gamecocks and recipient of the Brad Davis Community Service Post-Graduate Award, Preson became a Gamecock when he received his Masters in Teaching from the "real" USC's school of education. After graduation, Preston served in the AmeriCorps NCCC as part of the organization's post-Katrina Gulf Coast recovery. Using the skills he learned in AmeriCorps, Preston has teamed with Langston Moore to be the co-creator of EAT2WIN, a series of camps devoted to eliminating child obesity nationwide by exposing young people to healthy eating and physical fitness.
