Phillip Manning

Phillip Manning is a 2010 graduate of Winston-Salem State University, where he began cultivating his passion for storytelling after reading The Epic of Gilgamesh. That ancient tale of gods, monsters, and friendship opened the door to a lielong love of myth, fantasy, and the power of words.

When he's not writing, Phillip is diving into the rich worlds of comics, science fiction, and fantasy, or exploring the chaotic brilliance of the Borderlands video game series. His work draws inspiration from ancient texts, modern mythologies, and the wonder of the everyday world.

He lives in North Carolina with his amazing wife, their two brilliant daughters, four lively dogs, and one remarkably patient turtle.
