Phillip DwyerPhilip Dwyer is Professor of History at the University of Newcastle, New South Wales and the founding Director of the Centre for the History of Violence at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He is the editor of Theatres of Violence: Massacre, Mas Killing and Atrocity throughout History (2012) and Violence, Colonialism and Empire in the Modern World (with Amanda Nettelbeck, 2017).
