Philippos C Spryopoulos
Philippos C. Spyropoulos was born in Athens in 1952. He is Professor of Constitutional Law at the National and ?apodistrian University of Athens. He studied law at the University of Athens (Degree 1974), the London School of Economics and Plitical Science (LSE) of the University of London (LLM 1978) and the University of Freiburg i. Br. (Dr iur. 1979). He teaches Constitutional Law and Human Rights, and has published in the field of Constitutional Law and Theory.
He practises law as a barrister mainly before the Greek Administrative Supreme Court. He is a partner in the law firm 'Dryllerakis and Associates' (seehttp: //www.dryllerakis. gr/).
He has been an advisor to the Presidency of the Republic (1981-1983), Secretary General of the Ministry to the Prime Minister (1989) and of the Ministry of Justice (1990-1991), legal advisor to the Ministerial Committee for Privatization (1992-1993), and member of the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (2000-2005).
