He is the founder of Music & Copyright (1992), generally accepted as the most authoritative and objective source of information about the international music business. He remains its editor. His film books include Sam Fuller (1972) and Raoul Walsh (1974). He is also the editor and main contributor to the Aurum Film Encyclopaedias.
