Peter Gordon Williams
Peter Gordon Williams was born in Merthyr Tydfil, in 1930, where he attended Cyfarthfa Castle Grammar School. He graduated in mathematics from the University College of Swansea and was later awarded an M.Sc for research. He then served for two yeas in the RAF before teaching in Further and Higher Education. In 1997, he retired from his post as tutor and consellor with the Open University. The author has had short stories and poems published in magazines and anthologies. Publications include four novels, Down Mexico Way (2001), Icarus (2004), Provoke the Silent Dust (2007) and Owain Glyndwr (2011) and Llywelyn ap Gruffudd: The Life and Death of a Warrior Prince (2015).
