Pedro BaptistaPedro Baptista, PharmD, PhD, Marie Curie Alumni, is a Senior ARAID Researcher at IIS Aragon, Zaragoza, Spain, where he directs the Laboratory of Organ Bioengineering and Regenerative Medicine. He serves as a Visiting Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Dr. Baptista earned his Pharmacy Degree from the University of Lisbon and completed his PhD training at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC, USA. He is Secretary General of the European Society of Artificial Organs (ESAO) and Chair of the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) Regenerative Hepatology Consortium.
