Paul Newcombe

Paul Newcombe is Associate Professor in Adult Acute Care and BSc Nursing Course Leader at Kingston University and St George’s, University of London. Paul′s clinical background is in Emergency Nursing, Acute Medicine and Trauma, having worked in Oxord, London and Australia. Paul teaches across pre- and post-registration nursing courses and at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has a particular interest in developing high-fidelity simulation to help student nurses learn how to manage deteriorating patients. Paul has also staged an annual series of extra-curricular and cultural events with students, staff and local artists in celebration of International Nurses′ Day. He is the co-editor of Emergency Nursing at a Glance.
