Paul CarpenterPaul Carpenter is passionate about trains and railways, large and small. He studied engineering at university, becoming a Chartered Engineer in 1978. He has worked for several major design companies, lectured at technical colleges and been a freelanc consultant. He was a senior project engineer for London Underground for many years, and became a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers in 2011.
