Patrick ColemanPatrick Coleman's history MA thesis was completed in the archives of Chatsworth House and was centred on aristocratic paternalism on the estate c. 1890s-1920s. He is Curator at the National Emergency Services Museum where he runs a research project i collaboration with Castle Howard, Blenheim Palace, Chatsworth and other historic houses, looking at the contributions of the aristocracy and their staff to fire services in the UK from the 1600s to the present.
