Pat Jakobi

Pat Jakobi has been reading mysteries since she was introduced to Sherlock Holmes when she was twelve. She is most intrigued by the psychological and logistical puzzles found in so many of her favorite books. A health planner and policy analyst bytraining, she is also an award-winning photographer and active in both the art and birding communities in Galveston, Texas. Pat is the author of Early Galveston Artists and Photographers: Recovering a Legacy (History Press, 2021). This is her second Egret Bay mystery, following A Death at the Gallery (2023). She is now working on a third mystery, which also takes place in Egret Bay.
