Partha PakrayPartha Pakray is an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Technology, Silchar, India since August 2018. He worked as an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Technology, Mizoram, India from 2015 to 2018. He received his B.E. degree in Cmputer Science and Engineering from Jalpaiguri Govt. Engineering College, West Bengal, India; and M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Jadavpur University, West Bengal, India. He received dual post-doctoral fellowships, one from Norwegian University of Science & Technology, Norway, funded by ERCIM (European Union) and another from Masaryk University, Czech Republic, funded by ERCIM & MU (European Union). His areas of research interest and specialization include natural language processing (machine translation, semantic textual similarity, text entailment, question answering, information retrieval, image captioning, summarization), machine learning, deep learning, and machine intelligence. He has published more than 150 papers in reputed journals, conferences and workshops proceedings, and 5 patents.
