Pardeep KumarPardeep Kumar is currently working as a Professor and Head of the Computer Systems/Software Engineering Department, Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology (QUEST) Nawabshah, Pakistan. Additionally, he is also working as Director Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), QUEST Nawabshah. Earlier, he had worked as Director Continuing Education QUEST and Coordinator Students' Attendance System at QUEST. He is also working as a member of several academic and administrative committees of HEC Pakistan, PEC Pakistan, QUEST and other universities. Dr. Kumar completed his PhD from Berlin, Germany in 2012. Earlier he did his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems and Master of Engineering in Communication Systems and Networks from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro, Pakistan in 2001 and 2004 respectively. Dr. Kumar joined QUEST in January 2004 and was granted PhD scholarship from HEC Pakistan and DAAD Germany in 2006. His research interests are in the fields of wireless communication, wireless sensor networks, ZigBee, Internet of Things (IoT), next generation networks, communication protocols, etc. Dr. Kumar has authored more than 50 research publications in reputed journals and conferences including several books and book chapters.
