Omar MamadDr. Omar Mamad is a Lecturer in Medical Physics at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder (CDD), using approaches such s single-cell analysis, proteomics, and microRNA profiling to identify novel therapeutic targets. He leads a growing research team supported by competitive funding and industry collaborations, including over 567,000 awarded through the SFI-IRC Pathway Programme.
