Olivier DebleckerOlivier Deblecker (1971) received the degree in civil electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 1995 and 2001, respectively. He is currently a Professor and Head of the Electrical Power Engineering Unit at the Faculty o Engineering, University of Mons (Belgium). Since 2018, he is also the academic coordinator of the Joint Certificate Programme in Energy Electronics gathering partners from 4 Belgian universities and two of the major companies in Belgium (Alstom, Thalès Alenia Space) involved in that field. His research activities include the following main topics: power electronic systems and, more particularly, DC-DC power converters for space and auxiliary railway power supply applications (optimal design and control), modelling of electromagnetic systems operating at intermediate frequencies, wireless (contactless) power transfer applications, micro-grids (mainly power quality aspects).
