Olivia HigginsOlivia Higgins applies her teaching and advocacy skills to help educators increase their ability to support and welcome people of all genders and sexualities. Since 2001, Olivia has taught hundreds of preschool through 12th grade students, trained thusands of professionals, and provided extensive services to San Francisco, Alameda, and Oakland Unified School Districts. In 2013, Olivia founded Queerly Elementary to meet the growing demand for her services. Olivia wrote Stonewall: Our March Continues so young people can learn about this historic civil rights event and, perhaps, even inspire a few readers to advocate for a social justice cause dear to them.
