Norman CliffDr Norman Howard Cliff (1925-2007), was born in Yantai, China, into a missionary family working for the China Inland Mission. From 1941 to 1945 he was interned at the Weifang concentration camp by the occupying Japanese military. Cliff earned an M.Phl from the Open University and a PhD from Buckingham University. In addition to his thesis, he wrote seven books about China and the history of missions in that country.
