Nilanthy BalakrishnanNilanthy Balakrishnan is a Lecturer in Physics at Keele University, United Kingdom, and has more than 10 years of experience in semiconductor physics and nanofabrication. Her current research interest is fundamental science and applications of 2D matrials. She has extensive experience in developing and exploiting 2D materials growth, especially for optoelectronics, ferroelectrics, and thermoelectrics. She obtained her BSc Hons degree in Physics from the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka in 2008, MSc by Research, and PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom in 2012 and 2015, respectively.
