Nikolai SkibaNikolai Skiba was born in 1988 in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), where the winters are very severe. In this kingdom of ice and snow, he spent countless hours reading and becoming engulfed in fantasy worlds. Soon, he began to create his own.But writng would be relegated to the back burner for many years as Nikolai jumped from one job to another to make ends meet. Throughout all that time, one thing remained constant: he would make up stories and write them down on scraps of paper. But he couldn't seem to synthesize them into something bigger.The desire to write rankled on and on within Nikolai. Finally, in 2018, he became so obsessed that he managed to write a book. It didn't turn out very good. He found he had a lot to learn.At last, after much study, in November 2024, Nikolai returned to writing for good. For him, most important is creating stories that readers enjoy; that make them identify with the characters. That is his goal and his reward.
