Nigel MessengerAround 10 years ago, after a trip to Palestine to investigate an extraordinary story, I was compelled to write my first book, The Michmash Miracles. I collected so much research material that I have since self-published 4 more books with another in pogress. I plan to write many more.My genre is historical fiction. My earlier books are about World War I in the Middle East, but I recently published a work about the second and third crusades and medieval England. A second edition is being prepared. The Rivers of Eden is an updated, redrafted, improved and revised version of my book, From Eden to Babylon. I believe that stories are the best way to deliver and explain history, to inform and fascinate all generations and, above all, to learn lessons from past events.I owe huge thanks once again to my incredibly detailed and precise editor, Alison Jack, and my brilliant cover designer, Jason Conway and to Georgia Margetts for her lovely map of Mesopotamia.
