Abaas received the M.Sc. degree in “Homogenous Image Compression Using Quadtree” from Computer Science Dept. of the University of Babylon, Iraq in 1999, and the Doctor degree from Computer Science Dept. of the University of Technology, Iraq n 2006, with a thesis titled “A Comparison among Adaptive ICA Algorithms for Blind Speech Signals Separation: Cocktail Party Problem.” She has been Vice Chair of IEEE IRAQ Section, Vice Chair of Workshop (ATS-WiMob2009) in Morocco, Editorial Board in IJACT Journal, Member of ICEBE 2009 Program Committee, Member of ICNS 2010 Technical Program Committee, Technical Committee of International Arab Conference of e-Technology, Technical Committee of IAJeT, Editorial Board in AICIT: The International Association for Information, Culture, Human, and Industry Technology Journal , and other journals and conferences.
