Nick Petrie

Nicholas Petrie is the author of eight novels in the Peter Ash mystery series. His debut, The Drifter, won both the ITW Thriller Award and the Barry Award for Best First Novel. His novels have been finalists for the Barry, Edgar, and Anthony awards. He earned an MFA degree in fiction from the University of Washington, and while an undergraduate at the University of Michigan, he won a Hopwood Award for short fiction. His story "At the Laundromat" won the 2006 Short Story Contest in the Seattle Review, a national literary journal.
