Nick Drainey is an outdoor enthusiast and journalist. He has worked with the Press Association, Scotsman and The Times, among others. He now freelances, concentrating on the outdoors and rural issues for newspapers, magazines and radio

He s the author of the "Weekend Walks" series published by Pocket Mountains (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling & Falkirk). Another book of walks, in the Highlands, is coming soon!
