Nicholas SchofieldNicholas Schofield was educated at Exeter College, Oxford, and the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome. He currently works in a London parish and since 2005 has been Archivist of the Archdiocese of Westminster. The author of several books on ecclesiastical history, he is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London. For ten years he wrote a weekly column for the Catholic Times and he also lectures in modern church history at Allen Hall Seminary in Chelsea. This is his first published foray into military history.
