Nelson H. H. Graburn

Nelson H. H. Graburn (1936-2025) was Professor Emeritus of Anthropology at the University of California, Berkeley. He was editor of Ethnic and Tourist Arts (1976),  Anthropology of Tourism (1983), Tourism ocial Sciences (1991), Anthropology in the Age of Tourism (2009), and Tourism and Globalization (2010) as well as many other monographs and papers. He was a founding member of the International Academy for the Study of Tourism, and the Tourism Studies Working Group (www.tourismstudies.org).
