Ned Balbo

Ned Balbo's first poetry collection Galileo's Banquet received the Towson University Prize for Literature. He has also received the Robert Frost Foundation Poetry Award, the John Guyon Literary Nonfiction Prize, and an Individual Artist Awad from the Maryland State Arts Council. He has been a fellow in poetry at the Sewanee Writers' Conference and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. His poems have appeared in American Poetry Review, Antioch Review, Crab Orchard Review, Dogwood, and many others. He teaches at Loyola College in Baltimore.
