Naveen KumarDr Naveen Kuman is an Assistant Professor in the School of Design, UPES, Dehradun, India, where he is Principal Investigator at the Users Cognitive Load Centric Design Lab. He did his PhD in Human-Computer Interaction at Indian Institute of Technolog Delhi and Postdoc in AR/VR based interface design from GNU, South Korea. His research focuses on measurement of cognitive load caused by complex user interface designs for smart factory (Industry 4.0). He has developed a design methodology to physiologically assess the cognitive load using brain signals and eye related data, and his research goal is to make tangible and virtual interfaces, systems and devices better based on the theories and methodologies of Human Factors and Human-Computer Interaction, especially in the fields of smart factory, VR/AR, and healthcare products.
