Nathan Loewen is Associate Professor of Religious Studies and the Faculty Technology Liaison for the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alabama. Loewen is an executive member of the REL Digital Lab, a research space for digital and computational approaches to religious studies. He co-directs the Global-Critical Philosophy of Religion initiative, whose international collaborations aim to broaden the field’s analytical scope. Loewen recently co-edited Diversifying Philosophy of Religion (Bloomsbury, 2023) and is the author of Beyond the Problem of Evil: Derrida and Anglophone Philosophy of Religion (Lexington, 2018).
