Nancy SpauldingNancy has been a working artist in the Pacific Northwest since the 1970s. She has won numerous accolades for her work. In 2016 one of her pastel paintings was displayed at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. as part of the 100th anniversary celebratio of our national parks.Nancy has always kept a journal and enjoyed the written word. In 2021, she wrote and self published a memoir of her island life. Angus and Anna's Unexpected Adventure is her first children's book. Writing and using her art to create a picture book has been a longtime dream come true.When not creating in her studio Nancy enjoys being outside tending her garden or enjoying trails and parks in her island neighborhood.
