Nan Britton
Nanna Popham Britton (1896-1991) was a secretary who gained notoriety as a mistress of Warren G. Harding, the 29th President of the United States. In 1927 she alleged that her daughter, Elizabeth Ann (1919-2005) had been fathered by Harding while he was serving in the United States Senate. In 2015, Harding's paternity was finally confirmed by DNA testing.
