He had his undergraduate and post graduate degrees from the reputed institution of temple city-the Madurai Medical College in Tamil Nadu He has started his carrier as Hospital pharmacist and risen to the top most position of the department, Joint Director of Medical Education [Pharmacy] of Government of Tamilnadu. He has served as a Manufacturing Chemist as well as Analytical chemist in private companies and also as professor of pharmacy in a Government institution of Sultanate of Oman.
