Mysheria MooreMysheria J. Moore was born in Houston, Texas and she is the third child of three children. At an early age her father moved the family 50 miles outside of Houston to a small town name Willis, Texas where she grew up on a small farm. Her father workedfor the city of Houston police department (retired) and as an auto repair technician and carpenter. Her mother worked as a housewife and teachers aid. Mysheria excelled in her school studies and was an honor student, she ran track, played in the high school band and was involved in many school activities including performing songs in different school talent shows. She began writing poems at an early age and would read them to her family and friends. She attended college at the University of Texas at Arlington to become a Nurse and later enrolled in Everest Institute to also study Medical Assisting. She joined the U.S. Navy in (2013) to further her career and is presently employed by the Navy as she continues to write poetry today. Read More Read Less
