He received his Masters degree in Population Planning and Doctoral degree in Population Education and Communication from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His major interests and expertise include health communication program development and evaluation; health infrastructure capacity building; family planning, HIV/AIDS, and MCH social marketing campaigns; national and global reproductive health capacity building; health reform via public private partnerships; and IEC/BCC programs for disease prevention and treatment.
