MoralesIris Morales is an activist, educator, attorney, media producer, and author who has dedicated her life to social justice and human rights. Her activism focuses on economic and racial justice, women's rights, and the decolonization of Puerto Rico. Sheis a frequent speaker on feminist and social justice issues at universities and community venues.As the founding director of Red Sugarcane Press, she brings her love of community and history to publishing books and creating projects that highlight Black, Indigenous, and other peoples of color in the Americas.
