Mohd TariqMohd. Tariq is now employed as an Assistant Registrar (Academics) in the Department of Academics at the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. Dr. Tariq earned his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Kumaun University, Naintal, India, in 2018. His research was focused on biotechnological and ecological approaches for the conservation of Paris polyphylla Smith, a medicinally important herb of the Indian Himalayan region. He holds an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Graphic Era University, Dehradun, and a B.Sc. in Zoology (Honors) from Ramjas College, University of Delhi. Dr. Tariq's academic contributions include extensive research in the fields of conservation biology, medicinal plant biotechnology, and ecological modeling. He has published numerous research articles in reputed journals, authored book chapters, and presented his work at national and international conferences. His areas of expertise include tissue culture, molecular biology techniques, ecological assessment, and habitat distribution modeling. He has also guided over 65 undergraduate and postgraduate students and is supervising three Ph.D. candidates.
