Mohammad AlauddinMohammad Alauddin is currently a postdoctoral fellow and a candidate for Adjunct Scholar in the Department of Process Engineering & Applied Science, Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS, Canada. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Aligarh Muslim University, a master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a doctorate from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. His area of interest includes process safety, fault detection and diagnosis, risk assessment, and computational intelligence. He authored several research papers in refereed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. Dr. Alauddin is a recipient of various prestigious awards such as the WorkSafeBC Ralph McGinn Postdoctoral Fellowship and Award (2022), the SPE Canadian Educational Foundation (SPECEF) Award (2021), the People’s Choice Award in the DUC Datathon-2020 (jointly organized by the SPE Calgary and Untapped Energy), the Best Paper Award at Loss Prevention Asia- 2019 (Kuala Lumpur), and Golden Jubilee Awards (2009 & 2010) by Indian Institute for Chemical Engineers (IIChE, NRC Delhi).
