Misty M. Jackson
Misty M. Jackson received her Ph.D. from Michigan State University’s Department of Anthropology in 2005 and founded Arbre Croche Cultural Resources in 2007 after teaching at Central Michigan University. She offered expert witnes testimony in a Native American treaty case concerning farming rights and has served on the Michigan State Historic Preservation Board. Misty is currently president of the Center for French Colonial Studies. Her work includes publications on maritime archaeology and Native American tennis. She is co-editor of and contributor to The History and Archaeology of Fort Ouiatenon: 300 Years in the Making (Purdue University Press, 2024).
