Mireille's work often appears in the New York Times Magazine and other publications, where she rites about culture and society. She has been a columnist at many publications, notably the National Post, where she was a weekend columnist for 14 years. Mireille is the founding editor of literary journal Guilt & Pleasure Quarterly and is the editor of Best Canadian Essays 2023. She has been called "one of the best essayists in the world" by the New York Times, and for many years, ran a raucous discussion salon in Toronto. She lives in Montreal with her two young daughters.
