Milind Mohan NaikDr. Milind Naik received his PhD in Microbiology from Goa University in 2012. He has 9 years of teaching experience at Goa University and 1 year of experience as Scientist C on NIH-funded project “Malaria Evolution in South East Asia” at the NationalInstitute of Malaria Research, India. Dr. Naik also worked as a Scientist in Molbio Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd., Goa, on real time-PCR technology. He has edited two international books published by Elsevier and Springer. He has published over 30 research papers in reputed international journals and authored 6 book chapters. He is a recipient of SERB-DST Young Scientist Project Award and his research focuses on marine pollution and microbial remediation, quorum sensing in microorganisms and quorum quenching biomolecules, malaria, and nanobiotechnology.
