Mike Tomkies

Mike Tomkies was an acclaimed naturalist, writer and Hollywood film journalist who lived for 35 years in remote and wild places in the Scottish Highlands, Canada and Spain. In 1988 he was made an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Zooloical Society of Scotland. He wrote a number of best-selling nature books as well as a two-volume autobiography. He died in 2016.
