Mike McNairMike McNair received a B.S. degree in English Education from Oakland City University and a M.S. degree in Counselor Education from Northern Illinois University. His forty years in education include thirty years as a school guidance counselor. He wrot Mike's World humor column for nine years and is a field editor for Our Wisconsin Magazine. Billy Beechum and the Hooticat's Secret is the first book in the Billy Beechum trilogy. Billy Beechum and the Redheaded Bully and Billy Beechum and Paul Revere's Surprise complete the series. His other books include A Distant Summer, a coming-of-age novel; Tales from Mike's World, a humor book; and Sammy the Shivering Snowblower, a picture book about a snowblower that hates cold weather.
