After studying psychology, social dynamics, neuroscience, Hakomi, meditation, martial arts, shaanism, body talk, herbalism, and animal tracking, he compiled what he found most valuable from each method and established his own practice. These tools and experiences were the foundation for Suicidal to Superhuman: Accepting Mental Health & Its Role in Global Sanity. His goal is to shift the stigmas around mental illness, and help people understand how these "disorders" can serve as a catalyst to connecting with their complete, authentic selves-to empower them with the courage to truly live.
