Micki BareMicki Bare is a graduate of NC State University, where she earned both her Bachelor's and Master of Arts. Bare was a columnist for eighteen years. Her educational career includes service as an administrator, teacher, and marketing director. She is th author of the award-winning Zahra of the Uwharries middle-grade magical realism series, which includes Society of the Sentinelia (2022), Blind Fairy (2023), Omega Crag (2024), and Kimimila Returns (2025).
