Michael WiatrowskiMichael Wiatrowski received his Ph.D. in 1978 from Portland State University. His research has concentrated in the areas of juvenile justice, criminal justice reform, evaluation research, democratic policing and most recently in democratic theory anddevelopment. He worked 20 years in higher education as a tenured faculty member. Dr. Wiatrowski worked in the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Justice for 9 years. Dr. Wiatrowski is a Vietnam Veteran and retired from the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel. He continues to publish in refereed journals in a wide variety of areas. Read More Read Less
