Michael I. MishchenkoDr. Mishchenko received an Ms degree in Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1983 and a PhD degree in Physics and Mathematics from the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences (UNAS) in 1987. He was a senior research scientistat the Main Astronomical Observatory of UNAS from 1987-1992 and has been at NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) since 1992. Currently he is a member of the GISS senior research staff and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Marine Sciences Research Center of the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
