Michael G ToppingMICHAEL G. TOPPING was born in the Hollis section of Queens, New York, in 1984. He is the 12th of 13 children born to his mother, Joyce E. Holmes. He was raised in Central Islip, Long Island, where he graduated from Central Islip High School in 2002.He subsequently went on to study law at Suffolk Community College and was sworn in to the New York City Police Department in 2007.Michael began writing at the age of 7, won his first poetry contest at 13, and has performed his works at various venues.
