Michael E J WoodMichael Wood worked in agriculture until accepted for business training by a leading Japanese trading house. Working for major Japanese, Dutch and German firms he was involved in international trade, IT and Consulting from the mid-sixties to his retiement in 2010. He travelled widely and has lived and worked in Nigeria, Ukraine, Central Asia as well as the EU (Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg).He maintained his student interest in Art and History during his business career. Since retirement, he has written and illustrated children's books under his middle name Evelyn Wood.As Michael E J Wood he writes for the Bruges Group and has been published by a number of newspapers including the Huff Post on disability issues. He claims to have invented the label 'Invisible Disability' to describe those who need disabled facilities, but whose disabilities are not obvious.Writing a history of England that is accessible and above all provides key information so that a reader can undertake further focused research, has been a long-held ambition.
