Michael D SanfordMichael D. Sanford was born in Dallas, TX. He has studied, lived and worked in both Europe and Latin America. At the age of 19, and a college student newly arrived in West Germany, Michael began writing his first novel. Forty years later the manuscrit was found in an old storage box. After reading it, a friend encouraged him to finish the story. The result, Lust & War, is an historical fiction about militant students in the age of the Vietnam War, criminal sabotage, young love and of course lust, published in 2013. He has since greatly reworked, and then renamed and republished the novel in 2017 as A Thousand Stones. In addition to being a promising new novelist, he is a linguist, entrepreneur, inventor and technologist. Michael currently lives in Fort Worth, TX, "Where the West Begins!" and is working on the next novel in the series: The Blue Vienna.
